2025 Armstrong Boys Soccer Tryouts & Registration
Important:
All players must complete online registration and have an updated physical on file with the Athletic Office before attending tryouts.
You cannot participate without registering in the new system and having your physical submitted. Please complete both early to secure your spot.
We’re excited to kick off the 2025 season and welcome players back to Armstrong Soccer! Below you'll find important details about tryouts, our team structure, and the registration process, which has moved to a new system this year.
⚽ Tryout Details
Dates:
📅 Monday, August 11 – Wednesday, August 13
🕖 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
📍 Zachary Playfields, Plymouth
All players entering grades 9–12 (2025–2026 school year) are invited to attend. Incoming 8th graders may try out for the 9A/B teams depending on skill level.
✳️ Varsity Tryouts (Invite Only)
📅 Monday – Wednesday
🕓 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Select players will be invited to an additional evening session each day based on performance during the morning sessions.

Team placements will be shared following the final tryout session on Wednesday, August 13.

Tryouts will include:
Physical testing
Small-sided games
Full-field scrimmages
We’re looking for committed players who are ready to compete, develop, and represent Armstrong Soccer with pride — on Varsity, JV, or B Squad.
🧱 Team Structure: The 3 P’s
9A & B Squad – Participatory
Ideal for freshmen and developing players. Focus is on involvement, growth, and building a strong foundation.
JV – Preparatory
A competitive level designed for players preparing to make the jump to Varsity. Emphasis on development and team discipline.
Varsity – Performance
Our top team. Varsity players are expected to perform at the highest level, lead by example, and compete with intensity.
📋 What You’ll Need for Tryouts
Updated Physical: Must be on file with the Armstrong High School Athletic Office before tryouts begin.
Soccer Gear: Cleats, shin guards, water bottle, and a properly inflated ball.
Tryout Shirt: Provided at check-in and will double as your training shirt for the season.

Armstrong Activities & Athletics has transitioned to a new online registration system powered by ArbiterSports. All families will need to create a new account before completing registration.
