Meet the Coaches
-
Jordan Escobar, Varsity Head Coach
Jordan Escobar is entering his second year as the varsity boys soccer coach at Armstrong High School, bringing over a decade of coaching experience and a proven commitment to player development. In his first season, the Falcons earned 11 wins and made significant strides both in performance and team culture—laying the foundation for continued growth.
As Director of Coaching for United FC Rush in St. Michael/Albertville, Jordan plays a key leadership role in shaping the development pathway for players and coaches across the club. His sessions are grounded in the five key moments of the game—attacking, attacking to defense, defense, defense to attack, and set pieces—and focus on developing all four pillars: technical, tactical, physical, and mental.
Jordan is known for his ability to motivate players and foster a competitive, focused, and enjoyable environment. He is tactically flexible, tailoring his approach to fit the strengths of his players while preparing them to adapt to a variety of systems and in-game challenges.
His coaching philosophy emphasizes the holistic growth of every athlete in the program, not just those on varsity. He works to instill a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and resilience that extends beyond the field.
A devoted husband and father of four boys, Jordan’s values are rooted in family, hard work, and excellence. At Armstrong, he is building a culture of inclusion, accountability, and passion for the game—one that helps players grow as both athletes and young people.
Jordan is excited to continue leading the Falcons and pushing the program forward with purpose and pride.
